Eco Pet Beds – Modern Beds for Modern Cats

Kilowatt Studio designer Gregory Kenny is excited to announce his new partnership with Canadian online retailer Modern Karibou. Modern Karibou is not your average online store as they feature not only contemporary home furnishings that are beautiful, but also products with a focus on being eco-friendly and that are made from sustainable materials. They also work with the environmental movement 1% for the Planet, which is a growing number of companies that donate 1% of their sales to a network of 1,895 environtmental organizations worldwide.

Kilowatt Studio’s Nest and Pod beds for the modern cat (or little dog!) fit in perfectly with such a green company. Both the beds are made from bamboo, wool, and organic cotton and are 100% hand crafted in Vancouver, British Columbia. Wool was the material of choice for the bed shells as it does not support the growth of dust mites and other parasites, and has excellent flexible strength. These are not beds that you will find on the shelves of your local pet store, they are eco-friendly,  hypoallergenic, and their unique contemporary style will make them a welcome addition to your home.
