What is Cattery Index?

Cattery Index is a user driven community of cat breeders and cat fanciers. The purpose of this site is to keep an accurate index of active and current catteries online as well as maintain a comprehensive directory of links and articles relevant and useful to cat breeders specifically.

Here you will find helpful links and articles for new and veteran cat breeders and cat fanciers. In addition to links and articles, there is a section on product reviews. If you’ve found a helpful product or service for the day-to-day running of your cattery, share your experience with the rest of us too! Or let us know about products that weren’t worth the effort.

If your breed is not represented here but IS recognized by a cat registry, please contact me to have it added to the list. Please provide the link to the cat registry site that shows your breed is recognized.

What Cattery Index is Not

Cattery Index does not promote unregistered, unpedigreed or designer cats or breeds.

Cattery Index is not a political forum for he said/she said or pointing of fingers by cat breeders or about cat breeders, registries or registry officials in the cat fancy/cat show world. All posts, articles and comments are moderated. Any inappropriate or inflammatory content will be deleted without notice. Repeat offenders will have their accounts limited, frozen or banned.

Register and Post Your Cattery

Simply register for a free account, activate your account via email, and start posting about your cattery. All new posts, articles and comments are pre-approved by a site monitor to help prevent spam. Within 24 hours, your latest news will be live and on Cattery Index and even available for syndication to your own site or blog. Post your news ONCE and with a simple inclusion of code, it will automatically update on your own site, live from Cattery Index. You can provide the syndication link to any other newsgroup, email group, blog or website also.
